the forum is dead. aren't there too many sections?

with such level of activity and response, one section for "ANSYS software users"  would be enough; easier to navigate and manage.

Not really, it's broken out by physics and other useful areas (eg installation).  Given we have rather a lot of solvers trying to find and answer questions in a single section would be confusing. I do agree the Tutorials section needs work, and some of the headings may not translate well from "Ansys terms" to normal English or via Google translate.

If you've got any suggestions re topics/sections then let us know: the system is evolving and constructive input is welcome.

I mean, only employees drive this forum. When Ansys employees go on vacation, or conference, or anything disturbing their presence here, the forum stalls dead. Because users are spread by a thin layer between countless forums. The same is about questions, which go against corporate policy. Say, there is a systematic problem, or performance issue, users can normally discuss it with users. Employees can't. Forum dies, like there is no problem. Company stays unaware. Users feel abandoned and go away.

Fair points. Watch this space: we're working on that.
