# How to run two loading cases and get the maximal stress in every element?

Samara, RussiaMember

Hi, I'm running an bunch of analyses in MAPDL's batch mode. I can't figure how to run two loading cases and get the maximal stress in every element. I have the next file .dat for the batch mode execution:

/NERR,,,-1    /PREP7CDREAD,DB,'C:\Users\OSCAR\MATLAB2APDL','cdb',,'','' CPINTF,ALL,0.0001,/SOLU  SOLVE/POST1SET,LASTETABLE,SEQV,S,EQV      !\theta_eqvETABLE,VOL,VOLU,       !VSMULT,G,SEQV,VOL       !\theta_eqv*V  SSUM                   !G = \sum \theta_eqv*V  /OUTPUT,g,txt *GET,G,SSUM,0,ITEM,G/OUTPUT

As output I get the file g.txt, which have the next format:

 *GET  G         FROM  SSUM  ITEM=ITEM G         VALUE= 0.923886702E+12

By the moment I obtain the value for one loading case, how can I run two loading cases and get the maximum Von Mises stress from both cases?

Also, as you can see, the file have empty lines. I need to get rid of this lines and the text before the value, I mean, just get the number.
