I've just installed Discovery Aim Student 2019 R2, but when I try to run the software after installation, I get the following error. Any help would be appreciated.
Open the content of that student.lic file and see if the license has expired.
If not, open CMD Prompt and enter the following commands
"%awp_root194%\..\Shared Files\Licensing\winx64\ansysli_util" -checkout AIM
then post screenshots of the outputs.
Hey tsiriaks, thank you for your reply. I had installed 2018 version and the license was expired so, I had to download 2020 license key and replace the older key with 2020 one. This solved my problem.

Yes, that's the workaround to keep using the old version of ANSYS.
It's still encouraged, however, to use the latest version.
