How ANSYS calculates ASEC beam properties?
Hello everyone,
Today I have a question about theory.
While reading the input files in ANSYS Mechanical I see that ASEC beams have some properties defined. Those properties can be consulted in the following link:
However I want to know how ANSYS calculates those parameters (moments of inertia, torsional and warping constant, etc.).
Could you please send me some theory books where this is explained?
Thanks a lot.
Regards,
Óscar
