Frequency-dependent permittivity


Is there any way to enter a permittivity that is a function of frequency in HFSS? And how?

    Hello @Hamad,

    Yes you can enter permittivity as a function of frequency in HFSS.

    In the edit material properties window, select Set frequency dependency and proceed as shown in the snapshot below:

    Just click on the Dataset blank cell to show the drop down menu. By this way either you can import a frequency dependent datasheet or can set frequency points as well.
