Can Maxwell simulate silicon carbide semiconductor devices on the student version? How?

I need to know if Maxwell can be used to simulate silicon carbide semiconductor nanodevices on the university version of the software. If this is possible, I need detailed step-by-step instructions on how to do it please. Thank you for your time.

    Hi,

    What do you want to simulate for semiconductor nanodevices?

    Is it the performance characteristics of the nanodevice or external magnetics?

  • Performance characteristics (specifically switching speed and thermal conductivity).

    @MrBarry

    Maxwell can't be used to simulate silicon carbide semiconductor nanodevices.

    Though Ansys has tools for semiconductor applications, Unfortunately, none of our Semiconductor tools actually address device-level modeling/simulation.

    you need to start with and rely upon proper transistor models and characterization of circuits through SPICE prior to even using our analysis solutions.
