Isolated Fluid regions problem
Hello,
When I am trying to calculate my simulation on CFX, It gave me this error. Please find the attached photo. How can I solve it?
Thanks in advance.

Please check your mesh.
According to error message, your mesh has different regions or volumes which are not connected to each other. If these are not connected to each other then fluid will not pass from one to another.

Check you should have isolated regions rather than a set up error when connecting fluid regions. There's a flag to set in CFX-Pre for isolated regions which allows the operating conditions to be set for each region.
@kkanade Thanks
@Rob I have already isolated regions. So, it is not a problem through the simulation process when I have isolated regions.
Can you explain more (a flag to set in CFX-Pre for isolated regions)?
If you can share screenshots, it will be great.
Thanks in advance
In CFX-Pre go to Insert > Solver > Expert Parameters and set 'check isolated regions' = f on the 'Convergence Control' tab. It's not a problem if the regions are supposed to be isolated, but the flag will stop the warnings/errors.
@Rob
Thanks for your kind reply however i did not find this option
please check my attached photos
Thanks in advance
Convergence Control tab, second block, third option.
Thanks for your kind reply. However, it did not solve the problem.
Please find my attached photos.
Have you set pressure boundaries or a reference pressure in the isolated regions? @DrAmine can post where the panel is.
Actually no, But I think I have to do and try again.
