I have learned that I have to enter shear correction factor into shell element formula? But how can I reach shell formula? Where is the shell element properties?
Read this page in ANSYS Help.
This link tells you how to use the URL above: hint, don't just click on the link.
You will read this text on that page:
For a single-layer shell with isotropic material, default transverse shear stiffnesses are:
where shear-correction factor k = 5/6, G = shear modulus, and h = thickness of the shell.
@peteroznewman Thank you for your answer. I follow the instruction to reach the link but i couldn't. It says "loading". I guess I have to use some commands. But which command? And which data will be used with command. I don't know.
Describe in extreme detail exactly what you did to get to the point when something says "loading". You should say what that something is.
