Mesh Connection Group

Hi guys, I am merging the shell and the beam using the mesh connection group, after merging the beams rotate and ANSYS gives the error - The Quad Mesher failed on one or more faces during mesh connections. I ask for help how to solve this problem !? When merging, the geometry should not change, but mine does.

Do you absolutely need to merge the nodes? Can you use MPC bonded contacts instead?

Thanks, I will try to do it, but I avoid contacts because of the large model.

I connected the shell and the beam using an MPC contact and this is what I got. The picture shows that gaps appeared on the edges, but the connection remained at the vertices
