How to model an elliptical crack using pre meshed crack?

Hi

I need to model an elliptical crack on a surface body (2D), at the same time I need to model an elliptical crack on it. So far I know that I should use the pre meshed crack option in ANSYS, but I have no idea how I can use it for elliptical crack modelling.

I'm looking forward some technical tips please

Are you talking about modeling a semi-elliptic crack?
