Does ANSYS Modal analysis take into account component masses by itself?
in Structures
Hi, I am a beginner and want to do Modal & static structural analysis on an assembly. I wanted to confirm if the system will take into account the mass of the components while doing modal analysis if we input their densities/materials or do we have to give any particular input for considering it. ?

Also I got an image like this in the solution information. Could anyone please explain what this means? Is it an error?
@psansys
The mass of the solid bodies is automatically used in a Modal analysis.
If there is a component that is not represented by geometry, you can add a Point Mass to add more mass where the missing component would have been.
The red Constraint Equation lines show up when you use a Connection such as a Joint or a Bonded Contact (formulation MPC) or a Remote Point, Remote Displacement or Remote Force. It shows the connection between the face or edge you selected and the other thing that is being connected. It is not an error, it is a verification of what you asked for in your model.
Thank you so much!
In harmonic analysis, is it possible to apply static forces(eg. self weight) along with the sinusoidal ones? I could not find the standard gravity option in loads.
