Why can't I see the license manager?

Hello, I've installed R2020 student version remotely on another machine. I built a rigid dynamics simulation but when I click solve it almost immediately says 'fail to submit to server'. I've made the same machine the server but I can't see any license manager in the start menu. I wonder if it failed to install that, due to a firewall or something. Any help much appreciated, thank you.

@hmc197 This error isn't related to a license. ANSYS Student doesn't run with a license manager. Are you trying to solve this from one machine over to another?

As the message states, "See Solution Information, which may contain more details." If you right click on Solution and Open Solver Files Directory, is there a .out file? If so, please share the full contents.

Thanks for the reply. No, there's no .out file. No, I'm accessing the computer remotely but I'm trying to solve the model on the same machine where it's running it.

Can you open a windows command prompt and run the command "set" and send the full output?
