Different way to solve an acoustophoresis problem
Hi,
I am trying to model acoustophoresis phenomenon. I read some articles (https://www.mdpi.com/2673-4591/2/1/76) where it seems that the problem is solved in a sequential way. At first the helmoltz equation is solved to find the acoustic pressure in the microchannel. Then solving the Navier-Stokes equation the velocity distribution of the fluid in the microchannel is found. Finally the particle equation of motion is solved to find the path of the particles.
Is it possible to do this in ansys? (for example solve an acoustic harmonic analysis to find the acoustic pressure in the channel, then using these results in a cfd simulation in fluent to find the force acting on particles)

any suggestion?
Hello,
I believe it is possible. There are research papers online where they have used Ansys Fluent to model acoustophoresis phenomenon. Kindly refer to some of the thesis / dissertation documents available online for how it can be accomplished.
