How to split surface in Ansys Space Claim

Hello everyone,

Would like to seek guidance on how to face split the yellow and red annotations, as reference to the figure below. This is a 3D solder joint and showing its front view.

I have tried to face split it, however I am not sure whether it is limited to Ansys Academic License or it is my own problem, for face split, I could only use UV cutter point, and it did not manage cut the surface I want.

Also, may I know if I were to just face splitting the red annotations box, can I assign another material to it? If it is no, how do I assign another material particularly for red annotation box without splitting it into another body?

You can select different options under split. You can select planes or you can select different cutter.

You can check in help manual.

Under face split option there is no other cutter for me to select. Only UV cutter.

Please upload image. There should be option for cutter as given in link above in help.
