Hi everyone,

Could anyone please help me with this error. It says " The option of EX on the MP command is either not available for this version of ANSYS or the appropriate product was not selected for this session. "

Hey Peter,

I am currently trying to do a Magnetostatic analysis of a piezoelectric cantilever beam that generates voltage by the bending vibration caused by AC magnetic field. I have chosen the materials' properties, boundary conditions and everything. Once I hit "Solve" it just says " The option of EX on the MP command is either not available for this version of ANSYS or the appropriate product was not selected for this session. ". I just want to know if there is something I can do about it or its just a student license thing.

Are you building this model in Mechanical APDL or Workbench?
