Creating repeated mesh for Porous Jump Simulation
I'm trying to create a mesh for a porous disk (a 2D surface with porous jump condition) in a 3D fluid domain. I want the mesh of the 2D slice containing the surface disk on the X,Y plane to be replicated in the z direction. The mesh I am aiming for has this 2D slice.
My poor attempts so far have mainly consisted of inserting a tube which surrounds the disk and extends in the z direction, then using inflation layers on either side of the tube to create the finer radial mesh sizing. This had the issue of the tube and the rest of the fluid domain being separated by an interface region. I'm using spaceclaim for this problem.
I'm not sure if there is a cleaner way to approach this from the starting point or if there is some addition needed to my method. Any help/hints would be hugely appreciated!
