Coupling efficiency between a photonic structure farfield and a single mode fiber
I am working on the circular Bragg grating (CBG) for efficient coupling of a QD emission situated at the middle of its EYE. Generally we use a dipole for this QD to execute the simulation. We have an infinity corrected NA=0.65 objective to collect the emission of the QD. Now I have some optics by which we want to couple to a single mode fiber. So, I want to calculate the best overlap between the field pattern got through the objective and the single mode fiber fundamental mode or with other higher order modes to get the coupling efficiency. I am attaching my simulation files for the CBG and also for single mode fiber. I looked at the previous discussions in Ansys-Lumerical but I couldn't find any proper answer. Please help!
