STEP CONTROL IN TRANSIENT THERMAL
I'm setting up a transient thermal analysis to observe the cooling of a simplified assembly. The whole assembly starts from a temperature of 60 degrees Calsius and is cooled by convection through the surfaces of the two cylinders in contact with the air.
The problem I am having is that the analysis takes a very long time to deliver the results (about 1 hour and a half) and I think this is due to inappropriate timing settings.
The objective of the analysis is to make a comparison with experimental cooling data collected over a time window of 3 days and with a step of 15 min for each measurement.
Could you give me some suggestions?
