Questions on the matlab script command to get the values of the incident electric field IE0I of the source ((plane wave or TF / SF source)).

Actually I would like to calculate the log (IEI / IE0I) but I don't know how to get the IE0I electric field data from the source ((plane wave or TF / SF source)).

Looking forward to your response and your help!

    Sorry to reply you late.

    Some general background: for linear optics simulation, you do not need to change the default source amplitude of 1v/m, as this value does not change the physics. Thus log (IEI / IE0I) will not change.

    You can use Lumerical script

    E0=getnamed("source","amplitude");

    to get source amplitude.
