License Problems - "Connection timed out while reading data."

I get the following error message when trying to start Workbench:

Our academic license is managed by our IT department - they have verified that the new license file is uploaded to the server (if that is the correct term). They also verified that the license server was not under high demand or experiencing an outage.

Prior to the new license file, I was able to successfully start Workbench and I had access to everything that I needed. I was using 2021R1. After the new license file was uploaded, I received the above message when trying to use 2021R1. I then downloaded 2021R2 hoping that the situation would resolve itself, but I still received the above message.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Is it possible that ANSYS is looking for a license file on my local machine instead of looking for the license server?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
