Black screen has been addressed elsewhere on here, so let us know which solutions you've already eliminated. Not sure about the "missing" DVD, I assume you have already extracted the files?
As an aside, if you're overdue on a deadline use the University system, Student is there to help you, not to replace the Campus software. Marking a thread with a "best answer" also tends to reduce the need for staff intervention.
