Rigid Body Assumption for Multi-Parts Body
I am modeling a structure which is loaded statically with a multi-parts load applicator. I defined the load applicator as a rigid boy and for the contact between load applicator and system I assumed frictionless contact with normal stiffness 0.1 and Node-Normal to - Target as a contact detection method. The problem that I am facing now is that the results are different when I merg all parts of load applicator or define the load applicator as one body including 5 parts. Also, sometimes even the model is not converged. I would be thankful for any helps in this regard.
