Solution errors

Hello guys,

I don't know how to counteract to these issues and im not able to identify which one is the issue.

Is it because of my lack of physical memory or because of choosing the distributed solver or any of my boundary conditions are wrong?

can anyone help me with this one?

    It is probably a mistake in your model, not an issue with your computer, but we won't know until you provide more information. In the Mechanical program, click on the Solution Information folder in the outline. In the details window, you can set the Solution Output to Solver Output.  The Geometry window will be replaced with the Worksheet window, which will be filled with text. Click in that window and type Ctrl-F to find the word error.  There may be several occurrences. Copy and paste the text around each error into your reply to ask more questions.

    I did try to send the solution info but, apparently the system crashes.

    You can copy all text with Ctrl-A and paste it into Notepad and save that file. You can attach the text file to your reply.

    The only error I was able to find:-

    The /CONFIG,NOELDB command is not valid in a Distributed ANSYS         
     solution.  Command is ignored.

    Hello peteroznewman,

    Here I changed every settings and tried it without the distributed solver.

    The result is: -

    Insufficient memory was available for the solver engine to obtain a solution.  Try simplifying the model to reduce problem size.  Please see the Troubleshooting section of the ANSYS Workbench Help System for more information.

    Try Restarting your computer to clean out the RAM and try solving again, but maybe mrife has another suggestion.

    Hello Peteroznewman, 

    I have tried to do that so many times reducing the amount of time consuming softwares (except Ansys).

    and yet when I solve ,the system hangs and I literally cant do anything.

    I mean it was perfect few days ago and now im just trying to do the same analysis that worked fine ,there is an error stating insufficient memory.

    After so many restarting and cleaning up the junk using Ccleaner ,I was able to do the solution.

    But still my physical memory is a DDR3 2666Mhz RAM ,which in my point of view is not good for ansys.

    That model did not need more than 3 GB so it should solve easily on an 8 GB RAM computer.

    If you have a bigger model, then it would be good to have more RAM.

    Hello peteroznewman,

    The RAM I have has a speed of only 1600Mhz, which is kind of low for a DDR3 RAM.
