I figured this out. Actually it was mentioned in an earlier post but I was unable to understand it. So I am posting this just so maybe it could help some other person in the future.
1) First activate the 'Calculate Contact Forces' option in Output Controls of Analysis settings
2) Before running solve (this is important because after runnning solve you cannot add this), go to solution information, right click, insert and add contact forces. Choose the body for which contact is to be measured and the direction. If there are existing result data, clear it and then do the above procedure. After adding these you can run solve and be able to see the development of cutting forces.
