based on some available data in the internet we calculated heat loads into the surroundings from buses and i am attaching the calculated velocities from exhaust tail pipe of a bus and fan velocites from the condenser. the heat is emitted from the condenser fans and from the exhaust tail pipes.
please find the calculation in the word doc attached along this message.
i have 2 questions
1. we are getting a exhaust tail pipe velocity of around 17 m/s based on 102 mm dia when the bus is in idle condition, is this velocity correct or acceptable ?
2. we are getting a velocity of 9.5 m/s from the condenser fan based on 300 mm dia, is this velocity correct or acceptable?
