This package doesn't install Workbench completely, so that's expected.

For Discovery AIM, this requires some graphics power, what graphics card do you have on the machine ? You can try updating its driver to the latest from its vendor website.

There might be some information in your Windows Event Viewer. You can open that up -> Custom Views -> Administrative Events , then see if there is any error event related to crashing logged in here. Another location you can check is -> Windows Logs -> Application
