Yes possible. You can imagine that I usually have fully 3d cases. You can read your case into CFX in the dialog expand settings and you might provide number of cells in the extrusion region. Do not forget to repair mesh back in Fluent.
So you require that fine level in fully 3d pipe? Is using periodic streamline not an alternative?
