The solution has converged. The first natural frequency is 2.5 Hz.
If you want the first natural frequency to be 1.88 Hz, you can either:
- 1) add mass near the tip of the beam
- 2) reduce the thickness of the beam.
ANSYS includes Design Xplorer tools so you can ask it to find the thickness of the beam when the frequency is 1.88 Hz or ask it to find the mass to add at specific location such as the hole center to get 1.88 Hz.
You can do the same after you add a Point Mass to the Remote Point at the hole.
