Also from your description, it seems like you are using bearings under connections.
Most probably, the error might be related to remote point and the vertex not being coplanar. If that is the case, check the coordinates of your vertex under mobile, and modify remote points coordinates (in the details of the remote points) to match those of geometry.
For example, the Y coordinate of a bearing in XZ plane should match exactly as shown in the image below:
