Hi @bsista .I had posted this earlier. Creep is the tendency of a solid material to deform permanently under the influence of prolonged mechanical stresses. It occurs when the stress level is present and still below the yield strength. Creep is typically more pronounced when when the material is exposed to higher temperatures. You can see creep behavior in metallic structures, but you will also find it in polymers as well as other materials.
