From the images, it is not very clear where you want to merge the surfaces. If the faces line up at an edge, see if you can use mesh controls to create matching meshes. Then you can use node merge (right click on Mesh branch) to merge the nodes. If you just need the faces to be glued together, see if you can use bonded contact. If this doesn't help, please provide more details regarding your questionn
