If you have all the bits separately export the geometry & read it all into either DesignModeler or SpaceClaim. You asked how to generate the volute, so pointing you at the geometry tools is a valid answer.

Dear Rob,nIt can always be done from scratch with SpaceClaim, I know. I can also make the impeller with SpaceClaim or DesignModeler, but as a consequence of the complexity, time and effort, ANSYS provides us with individual modules to make these parts (BladeGen for example).nI ask about this fact. Obviously all CAD can be done from scratch with SpaceClaim or Design Modeler: impellers, diffusers, etc. We all know.nFurthermore, there are other programs (different from ANSYS) with which compressor volutes can be designed in the same way as BladeModeler or Vista CPD, so it is strange that ANSYS does not provide this component.nThat is why I ask how ANSYS solves the design of centrifugal compressor volutes. I hope these words clarify my question.nI hope I am not read unfriendlynThank you very much.n
