1) yes, appropriate and recommended in many casesn2) this is the pressure-based coupled solver, and the the term Courant number is confusing. it is related to a global relaxation parameter, and not the customary CFL proportional to dt/dx. For more information, refer to Sec. 28.4.4.2. Under-Relaxation of Equations of Fluent's Theory Guide.nIf this Courant number is set to infinity (a very large values) then the global relaxation is 1.0, i.e. no relaxation. For transient flows, it is recommended to set courant number to a large value and then run the solution at convective CFLs ~ 1 with about 10 sub-iterations / time step.n
