nHi Peter, thanks again for your help. I'm concerned with frictional stress as someone has asked me to test their cam design for them through ANSYS simulations, and they're specifically concerned with how their new design affects the performance in terms of the available frictional resistance to a constant load. They have a theory that changing the contact angle will improve the consistency of friction at various degrees of opening.nSince my main concern is friction, would it be more beneficial to decrease the element size at the contact or surface of the curve and decrease it in the main body of the cam?n
