nLet's clear up the definition of some words used in ANSYS Structural simulation.nDisplacement is an input to the model, a boundary condition that describes how much a node must move in a specified coordinate direction.nDeformation is an output from the model, a Solution quantity, a Result that measures how far a node moved in a specific coordinate direction, or a total distance from the start initial coordinates of the node.nI suggested you use three directional deformations to measure how far a node or vertex moved in each coordinate direction. The last paragraph of my previous reply describes how to find the initial coordinates of the vertex.nInserting an image showing the situation sometimes helps in answering questions.n
