nThe body is more flexible at the top of the square hole than half way down to the square hole because there is no material above the top. More flexibility means more deformation which means more stress.nI expected your next post would have shown a mesh convergence plot from the previous model with the large element next to the beginning of the fillet. Did you do that study? I wanted to see the result.n
