It's not possible to apply a boundary condition to a point mass.nMass represents inertia force so it is important to have accurate mass in dynamic simulations. If a body in a component system has the deformation that can be ignored in the analysis or has minimum effect on the analysis results, point mass can be used to represent this body to simplify the model without compromising accuracy. nIf acceleration BC is applied to this body and the acceleration BC will greatly affect the analysis results, this body should not be simplified as point mass. You should not model it as a point mass.n
