nAre you trying to model water tank under seismic loading? The stress is developed by 2 parts 1) impulsive and 2) Water sloshing. Using this type of analysis you could only model the impulsive effect which is caused by the sudden change in inertia of the liquid block. For the above analysis you could try validating using an analytical approach by a modelling it as a spring mass system, where the mass represents the spring represents the stiffness of wall. Add a force and compute the velocity of the block and check if it is anywhere near to your simulation result.nRegards,nIshann
