I will attempt to run it for longer in both a steady and unsteady state to compare. The wheel was not hanging, it was mounted horizontally rather than vertically, hence why I am not taking into consideration the contact patch or any ground effects. I am basing my approach off a study that ran a simulation using the same approach with the large fluid domain, however I am planning on reducing it. nI was wondering however if you had any explanation as to why the velocity streamlines that go around the wheel are so scarce? When I initiate them from the rotating disk then I get a full visualization of the streamlines despite the settings being identical for both. They are shown above. n
