It is an idealization and so the value of stress should not be looked at too closely on the elements touching the Fixed Support.nIf the maximum stress (not nodal difference but actual stress) occurs at the Fixed Support, that is an indication that the model should be revised to more accurately represent the true geometry and supports.n
