I never tried this mode.nFor HPC you can install HFSS on every workstation in the cluster (or machine instance at your server), and link them into a cluster using distributed simulation manager. it can be used for discrete sweeping, and domain decomposition solver.nYou can also create a cluster of identical machines(environments) in MPI mode, so you prepare the cluster independently of ANSYS and its distributed simulation manager.nThe server can be just a powerful workstation in RDP mode. RDP is availabel only with commercial license, and you don't need HPC for that. However today one HPC for 4 cores is included in any legal bundle.n
