The surface effect elements, SURF153 (2d) and SURF154 (3d) are used to apply this type of loading. The surface effect elements can be created by selecting the nodes of the bearing surface and using the ESURF command to create them. The elements are complicated, so finding an example in the doc. or by doing a google search on 'surface effect element in ansys' is advised.n
