We need to know the stress state (caused by our loading) before we can use the buckling solver - for reference, the buckling solver is an eigenvalue solver which give us the buckling load/multiplier based on the specific stress state caused by loads (the buckling solver is not like a static stress solver). nSo the way to get the stress state is by running the static structural solver. That can then be used by the buckling solver to obtain the buckling load/multipliers.nThat is why we run a static before buckling.nHope this explains everything.nAll the bestnnErikn
