So you have six 2 mm wide, 1 mm deep, 625 mm long dents in the cylindrical pipe. Is the 1 mm depth of dent inward to the center or outward?
What is the wall thickness of the pipe?
Is the pipe a surface model or a solid model?
I can guess there is another pipe without dents that slides into or over the pipe with dents, creating an interference fit. Is that correct? Rather than apply a load to the dents, create the other pipe and create frictional contact between the dents and the other pipe.
