Hi Alex The density tables in the custom model are meant to provide users with the ability to customize the dependence of index on charge (e.g. the shift in index at each density). The data here is provided by the user. If you are interested in relying on a sensitivity provided by the software, you can use the Drude or Soref and Bennett model. In summary CHARGE calculates the charge profile imported into the optical simulation (FDTD/MODE), where the sensitivity of index to this data is specified before the simulation is run. Hope this answers your question.
