Workbench will overwrite most path changes. If you want to use journals to drive Fluent use it outside of Workbench. The launcher should be available from the Start menu, if not look in
"C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\v211\fluent\ntbin\win64\ for fluent.exe and create a shortcut.
