If there were any missing elements solver should have thrown a error, which is not the case. Could you use the node(CNTRL+N)/element selection(CNTRL+K) tool and click on the mesh at a few random points over the corroded area? If there are elements/nodes there they should be highlighted in green. This way we can make sure that the problem is with the visualization.
