The verification looks on hoop stresses (sigma_╬©), so in our verification and above (tabular results from our manual), y corresponds to ╬© direction of a cylindrical coordinate system. Your system is not aligned correctly and is in the verification example -you need y/╬© to be in the hoop direction.

To get accurate results, apply a global element size of 0.8 inches. Is stated in the verification doc.
