Best way is to do as follows .
create an external data system and link it to a new analysis:
in the external data import your file (needs node nr, X,Y,Z, and values) as temperatures (units do not matter here ) - in this example I have taken Z strains and multiplied them by two in excel (see help for external data for more info), and said that they are temps:
finally import the loads - as we can see the left result (imported load) shows twice the strain as it should
