yes i launched both cases as double precision.
i have send one of the case to HPC. so they do have different repartition. But for my case the IDs moving would not be problem.
what confused me was why the z-coordinates changed, because i draw the walls at the same z coordinate in the first place.
is it also affected by the repartitioning?
